Michael Phelps.. Superbowl Commercials

Ok, I get it. Michael Phelps smokes weed. SO WHAT? What does it say about marijuana if the greatest olympian of all-time smokes it? Pot is no worse for you than beer and cigarettes. Actually it has ALOT less toxins than alcohol. Make it legal, charge taxes on it, and help the economy. It's unfortunate that Mr. Phelps pic went public. I wonder who was the one taking the picture and then selling it to a tabloid? With friends like that, who needs enemies?

Another superbowl has come and gone. It was a great game, one of the best finishes this blogger has ever seen. Unfortunately the team I was rooting for ended up with the short stick. That's ok, Pittsburgh is a worthy champion (unlike college football). The commercials were ok. It seems that each year they get worse. My favorite would have to be the Teleflora one. Best part about this commercial is the last line uttered by the flowers. Quite the exclamation point. Unnecessary, probably, but effective, absolutely. The Budweiser clydesdales commercials are getting old. They're just too blah. The E-trade baby still kicks ass.

... and can we PLEASE stop counting down the first 100 days of the presidency? Nothing really happens, stop wasting our time. Last I checked, it's a four year term. Thanks...


Another Monday morning,
A weekend come and gone.
So hard to get out of bed,
So hard just to move on.

Sleeping in the last two days,
makes me want to do it again.
But knowing me, I'd try it,
And end up sleeping past 10.

Then I'd rush around all day,
To try to make it home by 3.
Only to realize running around all day,
Has made me so sleepy.

So I'd probably sleep again,
Try to pick up where I'd left off,
I'm getting tired just writing this,
Man, I really need a day off...
